破和合僧是佛学术语，略称破僧。即破坏和合之僧伽。为五逆罪之一。可分二种：(一)破法轮僧，立邪法以破坏听闻佛陀教法之和合僧。(二)破磨僧，在同一结界内，别立羯磨，以破坏僧伽之和合。
