发源于翔安区西部凤南农场的康山(海拔558米)，长20公里，流域面积69.8平方公里。流经后坂、土楼、凤南，至上养四角河，汇入发源于大西山，流经蔡宅、新塘埔的东岭溪。再流至新桥，又汇入发源于店仔山，流经前格的岩仔内坑支流，再流过官浔村，注入策槽围垦区出海。
